As a Marketing and Operations Specialist you will play a leading role in executing the growth and expansion of Groupon's merchant's lifecycle and use case merchandising programs. This role will be responsible for helping deliver products and services that drive value for the merchant. This role is responsible for executing marketing campaigns across all traffic channels - especially in email, desktop, and mobile, social media. You will be a crucial part of ensuring we are communicating effectively with our merchants and providing them with a seamless Groupon experience.
You'll spend time on the following:Plan, implement, track and measure end-to-end email marketing campaignsResponsible for day-to-day technical execution within Salesforce Marketing Cloud including email campaign development and testing, data management and segmentationUpdate all campaign and calendar trackers. Ensures that they are always up to date and have all the information required;Update weekly and monthly campaign insights using Salesforce and TableauWorking with an in-house design team to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelinesReview final content by assessing rendering and settings across email, mobile, and webEnsure timely, high-quality content delivery that satisfies Groupon SLAsSupport and execute various testing initiatives within the email channelExecute both proactive and reactive tasks based on evolving merchants' needs and complianceMonitor the latest digital marketing trends and drive new ideas for best practiceThe ability to think critically and provide insight and think ahead to identify issuesWe're excited about you if you have:Relevant 2+ years experience in a B2B e-commerce role.Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential (working with third-party solutions and across digital channels) – A marketing automation certificate is a plusExperience working with CRM or data-management systems or data-focused tools, such as SQL, is preferred.Proficient technical skills in MS Office, Google Docs, HTMLYou have a start-up mentality and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can work on various projects.Good attention to detail and ability to follow the processYou have strong organisational, planning, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking with keen business judgment, focus, and ability to see the "big picture"Groupon is an Equal Opportunity Employer Beware of Recruitment Fraud: Groupon follows a merit-based recruitment process without charging job seekers any fees.
