Job Description
Reported to the Market Risk Manager for coffee and sugar and the Risk Processes Manager for all the platforms/functions , you will:
Be in charge of producing, analyzing, reporting, and improving positions, risk metrics, and PnL analysis.
Take a leading role in designing, implementing, and automating the risk reports and processes, with emphasis on process and tool improvement.
Work on the re-architecting of the processes for Risks, emphasizing automation and analytics.
Main Responsibilities:
From a market point of view: Collaborate closely with platforms and middle office to understand position and price movements.
Support the risk manager in building key market risk indicators.
Stay updated about relevant markets and news, and be willing to learn and understand market movements and their drivers.
From a process improvement standpoint: Work closely with the risk process to improve practices.
Envision and create analytics to support risk analysis and reporting, including data visualization and dashboards.
Design and implement improvements to the functionality of the Risk systems, providing analysis tools and reporting.
Assist with the automation of data integration and reporting tasks.
Your Profile:
University degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance.
5+ years of relevant working experience.
Knowledge of agri-commodities.
Proven track record in project implementation.
Programming ability in Excel and PowerBI.
Experience in coding Excel Macros and PowerBI/Analyze in Excel; SAS is a plus.
Ability to lead system improvement projects from analysis to execution.
Ability to interact with different internal counterparties and offices.
Willingness to learn Market Risk methodologies and expand knowledge on the subject matter.
Proactive person with an analytical mind and good communication skills.
Solid skills in negotiating solutions and a passion for driving improvement.
