About the Role:
The Market Development and Research Manager at TransUnion Spain is a strategic role focused on driving business growth through in-depth market research and development initiatives. This position involves identifying market opportunities, leading research projects to understand consumer behavior, and leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions and sales pitches. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market entry and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Research Projects: Manage research initiatives to understand consumer credit behavior and translate findings into actionable insights.
Market Intelligence: Develop a strong network of contacts to stay informed about market trends, client needs, and competitor activities.
Strategic Planning: Support the annual strategic planning process by gathering inputs and developing business cases for new investments.
Thought Leadership: Represent TransUnion at industry events, promote speaking engagements, and deliver insights through compelling presentations.
Sales Enablement: Train sales and consulting teams on industry trends and research studies to enhance client engagement.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in market research and strategic sales within the Fintech or financial services sector.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, SQL, Python) and big data platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Background in business, economics, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
Experience in strategy or corporate development.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to changing requirements.

Interview & Hiring Process:

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
