For replacement purposes, and as part of the Operations department and closely working with the local management, we are looking for a Manufacturing and Operations Manager for Spain.As part of the Limagrain Spanish Management Committee, you lead and coordinate the operations activities in Spain, including two plants and a laboratory (Cordoba and Elorz), from harvest reception until shipment, focusing on efficiency, quality, and safety to deliver on time in full the customer needs.As part of the Business Supply Area Europe Operations Committee and in close collaboration with Operations level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans (roadmap, MTP Capex, global OSR Supply Chain…), you maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.In line with the European production strategy for hybrids (corn, sunflower, and rape seeds) and the Country Business Strategy for cereals, forages, and cotton, you also define and implement the annual Spanish agronomic production plan to reach the quantity, lead-time, and cost targets.Job Description:Your main missions:Supervise daily production operations, from planning to shipment.Collaborate with Supply Chain and Plant managers to plan, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics.Manage local subcontractors and optimize processes to maximize production and minimize costs.Develop and implement the annual agronomic production plan to meet quantity, lead-time, and cost objectives.Prepare and monitor the local operations budget (Opex and Capex).Represent the company in the Spanish Seed Association (ANOVE) for all regulatory matters.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety with a team of 26 people (direct & indirect reports).Skills: What we expect of you:Graduated with a Master's degree in agriculture/agronomy with at least 10 years of professional experience, you also have more than 5 years in seed production. You demonstrate leadership, project management, and change management skills. You have excellent organizational, communication, and management skills. Experience in developing budgets and business plans is key.
