We are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant to join our growing ESG Advisory team based in Barcelona, Spain. The Senior Consultant will play a key and influential role with a focus on nurturing and growing our ESG Advisory services, through business and client development.

With a proven track record of working in a senior ESG role (consulting or in-house), the successful applicant will be an integral part of the team with responsibilities ranging from developing key client relationships, project oversight and delivery through to business development and team coaching.
A key aspect of the role will be developing and delivering our work across our core service areas of ESG strategy (materiality assessments, strategy development); social and community impact, and ESG disclosures & reporting (e.g., CSRD).

What we look for:
Passionate: Enthusiastic about sustainability and making a difference, with an appreciation of the sustainability agenda and previous work/technical/academic experience in the environmental and climate change space.
Intellect and Energy: Quick learner with a curious mind, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills including proficient use of Microsoft 365 Suite and fluency in English and Spanish.
Entrepreneurial: Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative approach to problem solving, comfortable with fast-paced work and able to manage your own time to work on multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
Good with People: Empathetic and confident communicator who handles challenges with resilience and is a good team player.

Job Description
What you will do:
Client management
Develop key client relationships, understanding client needs and growing relationships with large businesses across Europe
Oversee and deliver complex projects across key ESG Advisory service areas
Manage project teams to ensure great client work is delivered
Team management
Supervise, coach and develop project team members
Contribute to ensuring appropriate resource allocation across projects
Business & service development
Manage development of client proposals, identifying new opportunities and prospects.
Support and oversee continued development of our service offerings and growth strategy.
Sharing expertise and knowledge across SLR and support the development of our know-how, tools, methodologies and thought leadership.
