Implementing competitive projects and applied research initiatives at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center.
Key tasks and responsibilities: Conduct literature searches related to entrepreneurship topics, especially corporate venturing, scale-ups, and technology transfer: identification of articles, summarize key findings, etc.
Providing support in related tasks to studies: surveys, interviews, writing, qualitative analysis (maybe some quantitative), writing, proofreading, and design of presentations.
Implement competitive projects: writing of application, support to the project and partners, implementation of the deliveries, and more.
Build and develop materials for presentations.
Support stakeholders that are detail oriented.
The early/initial estimation is around 70-80% of back-office and 20-30% of front-office.
Other tasks related to the development of the Center and the school.
Requirements Native English and Spanish both speaking and writing.
Competitive projects experience: between four to six years of experience in European projects related to entrepreneurship and/or innovation (e.g., European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Horizon Europe, or other European programs/initiatives).
Ph.D in management, economics, or a related discipline (already finished at the starting date).
Demonstrated experience in applied research.
Experience with research methods: qualitative (must) and quantitative (at least some).
Work-permit for Spain (NIE, etc.).
Advanced office skills, especially with Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Highly trusted person who works towards excellence and spirit of service, who can easily work with other international team members.
Knowledge/experience on how EU projects are managed and reported.
Orientation to detail, especially in proofreading, writing, and analytics.
Committed, problem solver, positive, mentorable, and flexible.
Ability to absorb complex information quickly.
Structure thinking, synthesis, and planning.
Availability to travel (punctually), if needed.
