About the location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes. The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate and is currently undergoing restoration and renovation, scheduled to open in June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure all facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Assign and supervise tasks for the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address repair needs.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance requests and support hotel operations.
Our Ideal Maintenance Supervisor candidate will have:
Extensive Experience : A solid background in maintenance supervision, preferably within the hospitality industry or facility management, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring effective workflow and high performance.
Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical skills to identify maintenance issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions efficiently.
Safety Knowledge : In-depth understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in maintenance operations.
Organizational Skills : Strong organizational abilities to manage maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication Skills : Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear interactions with staff, management, and external vendors.
Budget Management : Experience in managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs while maintaining high standards of service.
Customer Service Orientation : A commitment to providing exceptional service to guests and staff, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Flexibility : Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the property.
