Blue Code is hiring a Lead PHP/Laravel Developer for an innovative international learning solution project. With over 40 years of experience in training and personal development, we are embarking on a new journey to build a cutting-edge global learning and development platform. This platform will enable employees of large companies to continuously develop themselves in a customized and transparent manner, partly powered by Artificial Intelligence.
The product is a SaaS solution that helps employees take the next step through smart algorithms, high-quality assessments and personalized learning advice. We make lifelong learning a reality; we call it growth without limits.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of new applications
Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications/software.
Guide and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Contribute to the SCRUM process by participating in refinement, planning and retrospective sessions
Ensure the quality of your team's code through rigorous testing and maintenance, including writing unit tests
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Designers to deliver a high-quality web application
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience with PHP, JavaScript and SQL
Minimum 5 years of experience with Laravel
Proven experience in a lead or senior developer role with the ability to manage and mentor a team
Experience in developing API integrations
Excellent communication skills in English, B2 Level
Reside in Alicante or nearby, a hybrid work model is required
Knowledge/experience with ISO and Security standards
Knowledge/experience with ElasticSearch is a plus
Knowledge/experience with OpenID or SAML is a plus
