We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst with expertise in Amazon Redshift and SQL to lead our Data Analytics and Data Engineers. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's data strategy, managing a team of data engineers and analysts, and delivering information support for company strategy that drive business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data across the organization while leading advanced data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business goals. Oversee the team's day-to-day operations, project priorities, and delivery timelines. Work closely with stakeholders to identify data needs and translate them into actionable projects and analyses. Design and implement the company's data analytics strategy, ensuring scalability and alignment with business objectives. Work with large, complex datasets to deliver in-depth analyses and predictive modeling. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Redshift, ensuring fast query execution and efficient data processing. Manage and optimize the Redshift data warehouse, ensuring it supports the organization's growing data needs. Act as the subject matter expert on SQL within the organization, providing guidance to team members and ensuring top-level data manipulation capabilities. Collaborate with other departments (Product, Finance, Marketing) to understand their data needs and deliver timely, accurate insights. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of all data within the organization. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance in large datasets.Extensive experience with Amazon Redshift is a must, including data warehousing design, query optimization, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with Airflow to orchestrate workflows and manage data pipelines.Experience with Kafka to support real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Amplitude, QuickSight.Experience with creating MRR calculations. We offer flexible working conditions with a priority to work from our offices in Barcelona, followed by Tallinn.
