Position: Landscape Architect BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) is an international architectural company characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, true teamwork across expertise areas and new ways of approaching conventional tasks. As our office in Barcelona is growing at a rapid pace and we have a pipeline of interesting projects, we are looking for a Landscape Architect, to work closely with the Partners, Project Leadership, and the BIG-L team.
Requirements: A professional degree in either Architecture, Urban Planning or Landscape architecture. At least 5 years of experience in landscape design and a good understanding of concept design on small to large-scale projects. Experience across different project stages, including later stages/detailing. Experience in the Middle East is preferred. Excellent communication skills, with English language speaking, writing and presentation skills being a must. Ability to work with multiple teams to provide guidance on technical development and approvals processes. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to diverse clients and public officials. Work with partners on advancing agenda on future of landscape design, urban design, mobility, sustainability, ecology, infrastructure. Work with business development team on urban planning, RFQs and proposals. Strong ability with 3D modelling in Rhino, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. Revit proficiency would be an advantage.
