About the role: As a Paralegal at Signicat, you will support our legal team in a variety of tasks, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal research. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions and gain exposure to the cutting-edge field of digital identity.
We are looking for candidates who have worked for at least a couple of years as a paralegal or legal assistant at a law firm and/or company. You should have experience working with contracts in some form, and training in law or as a paralegal (or equivalent work experience). You will handle a combination of administrative and legal duties. Since you will have many contact points, both internally and externally, we believe that you have great social skills and find it easy to collaborate in different constellations. You will be based in one of our offices in Vilnius, Bucharest, or Madrid and will work closely with our in-house counsel and other key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing and organizing a variety of legal documents, such as NDAs and amendments.Assist with the preparation of legal reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Take ownership for corporate housekeeping.Ensure proper maintenance of contract records and filings.Conduct due diligence in support of various legal transactions.Create, file, and prepare corporate documents.Make sure that templates are up to date.Help maintain and manage Signicat's contract management system, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with local and international laws across our operating regions.Liaise with internal teams to address legal queries and provide support on compliance-related matters.Coordinate electronic signatures, wet ink signatures, and notarization processes.
