Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the design, deployment, and delivery of projects of medium and high complexity. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing IT solutions that meet business requirements, while effectively managing project teams and ensuring project objectives are met.
Role Purpose:Manage the design, deployment, and delivery of projects of medium complexity (determined by budget, timeline, and stakeholder), providing IT solutions that meet business requirements.Direct project teams (externals) and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives.Setup and run all project-related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, risks, and act as the primary point of contact for all project-related escalations.Ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.Manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders in the organization by effectively displaying excellence in soft skills.Execute innovative, impactful, cost-effective, and measurable programs, tightly aligned to business objectives.About the Role:Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, manage risks and issues.Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools, and practices.Deliver projects on time and within budget to meet the desired business objectives.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.Own project status, issues, and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.Accountable to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.Collaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project.Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
Minimum Requirements:University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar OR relevant experience.Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE 2 is preferred.Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within Global Drug Development Clinical IT landscape is desirable.
