Role : Senior Procurement Analyst (Global) - Raw Materials/DirectsLocation : Barcelona (1 day per week in office)Salary : €45-70k + PackageCurrent Right to Work in Spain requiredThis exciting procurement analyst role offers an experienced procurement analyst the opportunity to join a brilliant team in Barcelona.
The role is with a multi-€bn multi-national corporation that continues to expand and truly invest in its employees, with fantastic mentorship, training, and progression opportunities.You'll lead a range of analytical projects as outlined below and work as a core part of the procurement team, leading on strategic analysis of raw material tenders, spend, and suppliers alongside numerous Category Managers globally.The role:Partner and understand the key priorities and business needs of our internal customers and the needs of the Procurement team (Category Managers, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams).Assist the procurement team in gathering business intelligence from various systems internally and with 3rd parties.Implement digital technologies to improve procurement processes and collaborate with 3rd party technology platform providers, such as Sievo, Scanmarket, and Airtable.Administer Procurement tools, including access, user accounts management, and spend classification.Support Category Managers to maintain and update Sievo spend, contract, and savings data in real-time.Set up Key Performance Indicators and dashboards.Evaluate supplier proposals to identify opportunities and risks.
Create, maintain, and update data for tenders in real-time to support negotiations and decision-making in a constantly changing business environment.Learn from and share best practices across global categories.Occasional travel might be required.Requirements:Bachelor's degree.4-5+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence.At least a year supporting procurement with analytics.Experience analysing or interacting with raw material markets.Advanced understanding of data visualization.Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Introductory skills in SQL a bonus.If interested, please let me know ASAP.
