.DETAILS :Role: Junior ParalegalDuration: Permanent ContractStart Date: ASAPLocation: MadridSalary: As per Kepler Cheuvreux's policyBenefits: home office, health insurance, life insurance, 26 days of leave, flexible salaryKEPLER CHEUVREUX :Kepler Cheuvreux is a leading independent European financial services company that specializes in Research, Execution, Fixed Income and Credit, Structured Solutions, Corporate Finance, and Asset Management.We are looking for a Junior Paralegal to strengthen our Legal department in Madrid.Kepler Cheuvreux's Legal Department covers and oversees the Group's overall contractual and legal matters in all the countries where Kepler Cheuvreux operates.YOUR TASKS:As part of the Legal team, you will assist in the day-to-day management of the Group's legal requests from all of Kepler Cheuvreux business lines, its files, and on all ongoing projects via, but not exclusively, requests for analysis on legal issues, which will include the preparation, review, and negotiation of agreements and documentation, ad hoc research, and participation in legal monitoring.Your main responsibilities will be:Assisting the Legal team on the preparation and review of the documentation related to Market Operations. These include, but are not limited to drafting, review, and negotiation of client agreements.Proofreading and analysis, with the help of a more senior lawyer, of various contracts such as client contracts.Negotiation of investment services contracts based on validated models (e.G. corporate brokerage agreements, structured products distribution agreements, direct market access agreements, research, general terms and conditions, etc.).Assisting the senior members of the Legal department in the negotiation of supplier contracts.YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:Bachelor's Degree in Law - (Grado en Derecho). Preferred qualifications: specialty studies and/or hands-on experience in corporate law, business law, and banking and/or finance law.PQE: up to 2 years experience.Very good writing skills, analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, rigor and method, good sense of organization, ability to work on various subjects.Excellent organizational skills, rigor and responsiveness, discretion, confidentiality, ability to synthesize, open-mindedness, listening, adaptability, responsiveness, good interpersonal and service skills.Ability to work in a team, commitment, sense of initiative.English (C1) and French (C1) are mandatory.Good command of office automation tools.A good knowledge of the markets and financial professions would be a plus.RECRUITMENT PROCESS:Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews: both fit and technical questions.
