Actively prepare recommendation for regional / global S&OP meetings in case of need.Identifies improvement needs in the area of Supply Chain network optimization and drive improvement projects.Identifies portfolio complexity reduction opportunities.Lead SCM part in NPD for C projects (some B projects).Additional ResponsibilitiesEnsure Product Supply Strategy implementation.Become Centre of Excellence in terms of Supply, Production, Deliver and long-term Planning for respective categories.Review continuously Capacity vs. Demand for all Categories, align Capacity, Capability adjustments with Factories Suppliers globally and prepare Decisions for S&OP meetings.Manage NPD Phase In/Phase out at best service levels and optimized Inventory levels.Keeps up-to-date knowledge on specific legislations affecting supply for respective categories.Monitor supply chain metrics and reports to management.OrganisationDirectly Reports to: Director Category SCM.Functionally reports to: none.Number of Direct reports: none.Interactions (internal & external)EMEA Leadership.Global Marketing, Global R&D, Technical Implementation Group.Global Production, Factories.Sales Companies.Global Procurement.Suppliers.Qualifications:Professional Experience and EducationBachelor in business and administration or in industrial engineering (University or University of applied sciences), preferable with major in Logistics.2 years' experience working in SCM (international company with comparable tasks is advantageous).Experience in Procurement, Production roles appreciated.Specific KnowledgeKnowledge in SCM Planning, S&OP and Initiative management.Knowledge of all relevant ERP and Planning systems (SAP, IBP, ..).Deep user knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel mastery.Very good English skills.Project management skills.Specific CompetenciesStrong drive, proactive, result-oriented and eager to learn.
