The Role
We are looking for a Junior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build and optimize Factorial's Lifecycle strategy for the German market.
Inbound Marketing is the main acquisition channel for Factorial since our foundation and we're looking for someone with a keen interest in lifecycle marketing and an understanding of the customer journey. The ideal candidate is motivated by revenue impact and has some experience in designing cross-channel strategies, analyzing campaign effectiveness, and using tools and data to refine the customer experience.
This role involves both strategy and hands-on execution. It requires a long-term vision for developing multi-touch customer journeys and daily management of campaigns across email, web, and social channels, all with a strong focus on key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you'll be doing:
Lifecycle Campaigns Strategy Gain insights into the challenges faced by our buyer personas in the German market and use this to create targeted, nurturing communication strategies.
Collaborate with the German Marketing team and Global Marketing Operations to define and implement the lead lifecycle journey.
Identify opportunities to enhance the lead journey through audience segmentation, personalized messaging, and choosing the right channels for optimal engagement.
Partner with cross-functional teams—including product, sales, design, and engineering—to develop best-in-class lifecycle campaigns.
Marketing and Sales Nurturing Optimization Lead nurturing campaign setup, content creation, and execution—taking charge of new and existing lifecycle campaigns.
Execute multi-channel campaigns (email, web, social, mobile) that guide leads through the buyer's journey. Write compelling content for various campaign assets, including emails, landing pages, and marketing collateral.
Craft messaging and marketing materials (pitch decks, landing pages, ads, etc.) that empower the Sales team to acquire new customers and drive contract value growth.
Drive content engagement and increase Customer Lifetime Value by launching content marketing campaigns (promoting new and seasonal content), onboarding programs, re-engagement campaigns, and loyalty initiatives.
Manage and maintain Factorial's prospect and email database to ensure it's accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with data privacy regulations.
Event Support Webinar and Event Planning: Plan, schedule and manage end-to-end digital events, from concept to execution, including logistics, technology and post-event analytics.
Event Promotion: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote digital events using email, social media, SEO/SEM and content marketing to drive registrations.
Content Development: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, content) to develop engaging and educational content for webinars, events & nurturings.
Audience Targeting and List Building: Segment audiences, optimize email lists, and ensure accurate audience targeting to maximize event attendance and lead generation.
Technology management: Use platforms such as Zoom, Wistia or other virtual event tools to organize and manage events.
Manage internal speakers, set up events and assist with the post-event evaluation.
Analytics and Reporting Track campaign budgets and return on investment (ROI) to ensure effective resource allocation and impact.
Design and implement hypothesis-based A/B tests to optimize lifecycle stages and enhance ROI.
Define and present lifecycle marketing metrics, goals, and OKRs with a data-driven approach. Analyze performance, assess campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements to meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
You are a native-level German speaker and fluent in English (both written and spoken).
1-2 years of experience in email or digital marketing, with some focus on content creation and conversion optimization.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Strategic and analytical mindset—you can identify key audience segments and leverage insights to build cohesive communication strategies.
Basic understanding of marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus.
Adaptability in a dynamic environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
