Junior Finance Officer

Hero Gaming is looking for a Junior Finance Officer!This role is for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make their mark in the gaming industry.With a foundational understanding of daily operational processes within the finance department, you will work closely with our experienced team and receive mentorship to further develop your skills.Based in Marbella or Malta, or willing to relocate and become part of a fantastic team, you will be responsible for:General book-keeping duties, including handling aged payables and suppliersThe preparation, execution, and posting of bank paymentsPayment Service Providers (PSPs) reconciliationsPreparing information for monthly management accounts and other financial reportsAssisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returnsThe ideal candidate will have the right combination of talent, energy, and a commitment to technical excellence.This is what we're looking for :Experience in the iGaming industry it's a plusHands-on working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & OutlookGood math and analytical skills and the ability to spot numerical errorsKnowledge of accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) will be considered an asset.Training will be provided.Experience in finance processes and systems enhancementsAbility to work in a dynamic environment while managing priorities and ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliverablesAbility to work independently, identify and suggest solutions to challenges, maintain a strong focus on business priorities, and be persistent in follow-throughComfortable working in a team environmentFluent in English; Spanish is a plusLiving in Marbella or Malta, or willing to relocateBenefits:Great office environmentRegular office celebrations and partiesSnacks provided in the officeGenerous holiday allowance plus bank holidaysFlexibility and much moreReady to join our journey?Apply now and become a Hero!
