Your mission will be to animate complete scenes of cinematics (body + facial + cam) using MotionBuilder, going through different phases of polish and reaching a realistic result.
You will be part of a strong and talented Cinematic Team which creates memorable scenes and performances on well-known Ubisoft projects such as Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon, Beyond Good and Evil, Rabbids…What you will doAssemble simple scenes importing characters, props, cameras, and environment, following the storyboards and scripts information.Collaborate on bigger and more complex scenes, polishing certain parts of them under more experienced team members' guidance.Integrate and animate motion capture data (body and facial).Recreate accurately actors' performance.Create and edit camera animation delivering good compositions.Integrate and test animations in our engine.Communicate daily with the animation supervisor.Work in collaboration with the rest of the team members: Cinematic Design, Tech Animation, VFX, and Light.Give visibility of your work progress and identify and report any problems that you encounter in the process.QualificationsWhat you'll bringRecently graduated in a bachelor, master, or similar related to 3D animation.Knowledge of human anatomy, physiological reactions, and body language to express character emotions through movement.Experience with Autodesk 3D animation software such as MotionBuilder and Maya.Good communication skills (English) spoken and written.Able to collaborate well with the other members of the animation team and other team members.Ability to receive and provide constructive criticism.Autonomous and proactive attitude.Organizational skills.Nice to haveVideo game engines knowledge (Unity or Unreal).Experience with Motion capture.Additional InformationOur studio is located in one of the most popular urban areas of Europe: Barcelona!
