Job Purpose:
Senior Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility vendor managementDriving Hardware & Supplies business growthManage inventory quality and targets without compromising availabilityVendor P&L responsibilityAccountable for GP element variation vs plan and corrective actionsGrow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under some supervisionOptimises results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio and other business development initiativesOwnership of quarterly vendor business planning and executionEnable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market shareRelationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the 'Trusted Advisor'Maintains full knowledge of assigned Vendor's product/service lineKnowledge Skills and Experience:
4+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing backgroundBusiness planning experience with strong operational cadenceComplete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques, and standardsStrong orientation towards and experience in services and solution sellingStrategic planning and business case developmentGood emotional intelligenceInfluence and persuasionStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenSelf-managementSkilled multi-level relationship builderDemonstrates capability of having a clear understanding of strategic direction and challenges combined with ability and experience of how to develop and manage strategic partnerships at executive levelAbility to deal with Vendor/distributor agreements, and their relationships across multiple countriesStrong commercial acumen including demonstrable external contract or vendor managementWillingness to travel as requiredFluency in English - additional languages are desirableAnd last... but surely not least:
