WHAT WE OFFERMain Responsibilities:Lead and guide team/task force to ensure all activities in respective area are in compliance with HSEQ regulations to obtain/maintain operation license.Develop and ensure entire management systems are in function to meet quality and quantity requirements.Drive process & operation optimization and continuous improvement to achieve both operational effectiveness and efficiency (challenge the status quo).Manage cost performance and resources to enhance competitiveness advantage.Manage plant personnel including performance coordination of interphases operations related, staffing, performance assessments, organization, and people development to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation.Communicate in and cross plant and leverage best practices/experiences for potential improvement opportunities.Set the framework for projects in the plant, e.g., cost saving, performance improvement, investments, integrations to support company strategy realization.Monitor reliability/maintenance relative performance together with reliability organizations and manage maintenance activities from production site.Develop a plant strategy (5+ years).Take care of team environment and be a role model in leadership, people, and company adherence.Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience):University degree in Technical or Natural Sciences or equivalent qualifications with relevant work experience.Extensive/in-depth work experience (8+ years) in chemical production or technical function (5+ years in smaller plants).Relevant work experience (3+ years) in production management or process technology (regional differences may apply).Proven leadership skills (e.g., through people or project leadership roles).Country specific legal requirements may apply.Proven skills leading change, moving forward new organization, capable to achieve broad consensus, caretaker of interphases like maintenance, logistics, planning, laboratories etc.Skilled profile for building up complex support networks around the Covestro world, focused particularly on Europe.WHAT YOU OFFERYOUR APPLICATIONContact Us
