We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Industrial Solution team to increase the number of leads for the EMEA sales teams and to support the team on lead to sales conversion. Successfully doing so, you will enable growth within Europe. The position will report to our Manager Business Development, based in Leuven, but you will have daily contact with our Industrial Aftermarket team, which is located in Terrassa as well.
Responsibilities:Ensure all incoming leads (website, mail, eCom) are administered timely and accurately by:Enhancing the lead dataAssigning the leads to the correct responsible person in a timely mannerImproving the lead to sales conversion by closely monitoring actions taken on the leads by sales and working with the teams to contact the company, get, and win the opportunitiesReporting out on the lead to sales conversion pipelineOptimizing the lead process in CRM365Generate new leads to enable growth for the business:Conduct target market researchEnable new platforms of lead generationPerform Cross BU Analysis (e.g., retrieve potentially interesting customer lists from other Business Units and/or provide data to other Business Units)Reactivate lost businessExperience and Skills:Higher Education in Marketing or equivalent through experienceAt least one year experience in a business development roleProactivity and extrovert personality to work with different teams across EMEAStrong communication and reporting skillsDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughnessIT skills - MS Office, CRM, OracleEnglish is a must, any other European language is an assetWhy Donaldson?You will be part of a multinational company with an international work environmentPermanent position and internal growth opportunitiesFlexible working schedule (7.30 - 9.30 to 16.30 - 18.30)Terrassa based (Barcelona), with a daily shuttle bus from Plaza España (Barcelona) to our officesHybrid working policy (3 days of remote working per week), but initial training will be in the office for a period of 1 monthMonthly meal allowanceSocial benefits will be offered after 1 year seniority (health, life insurance, and pension plan)Free online Spanish lessons and daily fresh fruit at the officeOur policy is to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, gender, color, disability, national origin, age, religion, union affiliation, sexual orientation, veteran status, citizenship, gender identity and/or expression, or other status protected by law.
