You will directly shape what more than 1 billion website visitors see across 46 countries and how easy it is for them to book in our mobile app. Our app, with one of the highest ratings among travel apps, has a cash-free rate of 99.9% with 70K active users and 7K daily downloads. What you will do: The Roles Key Responsibilities and Tasks: As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As an iOS Software Engineer in the Convert Area, you will be in charge of:
Building a single core application for all the different eDreams ODIGEO brands. Working with a top-notch tech stack including Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, XCTests, Fastlane, Cocoapods, Jenkins/CircleCI for Continuous Integration, Viper, and Clean Architecture. Deciding with the rest of the team members about architecture and best practices. Working with our integration tools to speed up the development of new features. Being part of a high-performing cross-functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists, etc., all sharing the same values and focus on the customer. Continuously learning and participating in workshops, hackathons, and other events as we consider it key to be active within the IT community. Working with a distributed scalable microservices platform where software gets deployed daily with high quality, clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Being fully independent when working with the modules your team owns across all the phases of the SDLC. Working with talented colleagues who will mentor you and help you develop your career super fast. Providing solutions to complex problems by understanding the problem and the system it sits in and working with our most senior people to find the best solution that is robust, scalable, and has good performance in a high load environment. Working in a fully agile organization using Kanban practices to deliver business value, continuously experimenting to deliver more value and be more efficient. Actively participating in team ceremonies and events as well as product definition and ideation processes. Coding the solutions on a module scope with the highest quality through good design, attention to detail, and test quality. Owning and monitoring the performance of product and technical OKRs. Challenging decisions, being proactive, and seeking to improve technical excellence. What you need to succeed: Good to have: Bring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions. Must haves: Passion for new technologies and clean architecture. Experience with Swift, Objective-C, CocoaPods, as well as Unit Tests. Knowledge of the criteria for mobile applications design, usability, and interaction. Product mindset and focus on user experience. At least a B2 level in English and willingness to work with a talented multicultural team. Team player, flexible, easy-going, proactive, and supportive. Nice to haves: Experience working in an Agile environment. Worked with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins). Knowledge of Core Data, UI testing frameworks. Knowledge of Online Continuous Integration Tools like Bitrise, CircleCI, etc. Knowledge of other mobile languages or platforms. Previous experience participating in open-source software projects.
