Location: Barcelona (Spain) Ref: RD81825152 September 13, 2024 MASS COMMODITIES FUNCTIONS The International Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our sun protection products, particularly awnings and shading systems, in key Eastern European markets.
Based in Barcelona, the candidate is expected to travel approximately 50% of the time to various countries within the region.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with distributors and clients, and expanding our market share.
Key Responsibilities Market Development: Identify and grow business opportunities with new and existing clients in Eastern Europe, including markets such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, and others.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to design and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Eastern European market, aligned with global business objectives.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, architects, installers, and end clients to boost brand awareness and drive product adoption.
Travel: Travel across the region (up to 50% of the time) to meet clients, attend trade shows, conduct market research, and ensure business growth.
Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and competitive analysis to the Export Director and Deputy General Manager.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, product presentations, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Development, and Logistics to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in international B2B sales, preferably within the sun protection, textile, or related industries.
Languages: Fluent English is required.
Proficiency in German and/or Polish is highly valued due to key market activity in these regions.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across Eastern Europe (approximately 50% of the time).
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
Sales Skills: Strong ability to identify client needs, offer tailored solutions, and successfully close deals.
Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Market Knowledge: Familiarity with Eastern European markets and the ability to navigate diverse business cultures.
