Your responsibilities will include verifying daily payments, overseeing bank deposits, managing petty cash, and conducting surprise audits. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to Accor policies and local regulations, contributing to the efficiency and continuous improvement of our financial processes.Responsibilities:Collect, with an assigned witness, all the cash envelopes from the drop-safe and verify them against the daily sheet.Prepare bank deposits of all cheques and cash, ensuring that all cash collections are deposited intact.Prepare the General Cashier's Daily Report by entering the day's detailed cash collections and all other terms of payments received.Provide all cashiers with required change including extra change for long weekends or special occasions.Reimburse cashiers for disbursements made by them (Due-Backs).Count your own fund daily and properly account for all disbursements made from it.Be responsible for the control, disbursement, and posting of approved petty cash requests.Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all petty cash vouchers before releasing payments.Oversee the entirety of foreign currency transactions and provide updated exchange rates if necessary.Initiate or assist, when required, in carrying out surprise cash counts of all house-float custodians.Verify that all sales from Rooms, F&B, and other operating departments are correct.Review that all internal control procedures in place are correctly applied according to Accor policies and Spanish laws.Evaluate new risks and propose new procedures to mitigate them.Perform other duties as assigned by the director of finance or superior based on business requirements.Ensure all audit objectives and audit statements are responded to properly.Fully assist and support any government regulatory agency or internal audits.Qualifications- University degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.- Minimum of 2 years experience in the hospitality industry.- Fluency in Spanish; English highly valuable.- Responsibility for managing financial issues, solving complex problems, and making effective decisions
