As our new Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the success of our Services & Support solutions (Agilent CrossLab) in the Italian market.
This portfolio of solutions includes repair & maintenance contracts (hardware), learning services, laboratory relocations, asset management and digital solutions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Meet sales objectives by driving remote sales opportunities (through phone, emails, chats) with existing customers and new prospects.
Provide quotes, understand customer needs, and proactively act to meet those needs.
Develop and maintain effective customer relations with procurement, laboratory managers and end users.
Identify and generate business opportunities for growth by taking a creative approach.
Provide accurate forecast sales and maintain CRM up to date.
Proactively collaborate with field service & instrument sales teams (other internal resources) to drive the sales cycle.
This position can be based either in our Milan or Barcelona offices, where partial remote work would be an option (up to 2 days a week).
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
University degree in either a life science (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or a business-related field.
Commercial experience selling scientific solutions (products or services).
Full proficiency in Italian and English.
On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer focused. You also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with many external and internal partners.
You show a real can-do attitude, resilience and you enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.

Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
