If you're after an exciting opportunity to get hands-on with innovative projects and sharpen your skills in design engineering, then this could be your next move!ResponsibilitiesDesign components using CATIA V5, with focus on surface design.Create complete engineering assemblies, including hardware and bond models.Design molds, masters, and the tooling we need to bring products to life.Seeing things through from prototype to full production (you'll be there every step of the way).Collaborate closely with the CAE department to optimize, verify, and improve designs.Provide support to junior design engineers, whether it's solving problems or guiding them along.Attend and manage meetings with clients or suppliers to review progress and address any challenges.Attend and manage team meetings to track progress, set goals, and plan the next steps.Create and manage all technical documentation needed for project development.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in design engineering, ideally within the composites or related industries.Proficiency in CATIA V5 and experience working with CAD/CAE tools.Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.Experience in designing for manufacturing, with a focus on molds, tooling, and fixtures.Confidence to manage multiple projects on your own, but also enjoy being part of a small, dynamic team.Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.Passionate about technology and eager to learn about advanced composite materials.We live and breathe composites, especially when it comes to automotive innovation.
