As a 100% employee-owned company, we share a commitment to our team success and represent that responsibility in a professional, dynamic way to both our clients and the communities in which we serve.We are actively seeking an HVAC Superintendent in the Raleigh, NC area to join our award-winning team.Great Reasons to Join Romanoff: 9x Employee Voted Top Work PlaceHighly Competitive WageExcellent Benefits Package (Health/Vision/Dental/Life/STD/LTD/Accident and Critical Illness)$15k Company Paid Life Insurance401(k)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (We are 100% employee owned)Training and SupportVacation and Paid HolidaysAdvancement OpportunitiesPaid ApprenticeshipPosition Responsibilities of the HVAC Superintendent: Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.Identify all tools required for tasks.Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.Assemble and install HVAC equipment.Inspect HVAC equipment and components to identify hazards and ensure the equipment is in good operational condition.Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.Maintain proficiency in cable pulling methods used to run the cable through specified pathways.Utilize specialized electrical tools such as but not limited to ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.Troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.Follow instructions correctly.Be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes.Illustrate knowledge and experience of working with a lock out tag out system.Express an excellent working knowledge of Residential Building Codes/HVAC Codes.Have knowledge in boxing and pulling romex in compliance with local building codes.Willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.Make it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with proper notification.Communicate well and have professional interpersonal skills.Able to train and coach coworkers.Provide on-site direction and leadership to workers.Management of material, deadlines, and quality control of installations.Must follow all state/local building regulations from the National HVAC Code.Experience and Qualification Requirements of the HVAC Superintendent: Must have a minimum of 5 years documented field work or completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program.Must have an excellent understanding of the HVAC industry
