Your roleOlala Homes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Helpdesk Intern to join our dynamic office team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience in IT support and office operations within a professional and collaborative environment. Your JourneyTroubleshoot hardware and software issues for computers, printers, and other peripherals.Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining office IT equipment, including workstations, phones, and networks.Support onboarding processes by preparing and configuring devices for new employees.Document and maintain records of common issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.Help install and update software applications and ensure systems are up-to-date.Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.Provide guidance to staff on using company systems, tools, and applications.Ensure data security practices are followed during troubleshooting or device handling.Test and verify equipment functionality after repairs or updates.Participate in IT improvement projects and provide feedback on system performance.What do you bring to your tripCurrently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux), and common software applications.Familiarity with networking concepts, such as IP addressing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and basic network configuration.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance to users.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (preferred but not required).Previous internship or experience in IT support (a plus but not mandatory).Diversity and SustainabilityWe take pride in cultivating a vibrant and inclusive work environment that celebrates individuality and diversity.
