Key Responsibilities Wellbeing and Safety: Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all children and adults in your school, ensuring a welcoming, safe, supportive, and inspiring space for everyone to grow and develop. Learning and Embedding Quality: Empower teachers to focus on the quality of learning in your school, ensuring progress towards the 9 criteria in the Learning Improvement Process. Leadership and Development: Lead your school with vision, empathy, and integrity, recruiting, developing, and retaining talent. Vision and Strategy: Focus on the ISP Vision of Schools of Choice, creating and leading the strategy in partnership with your senior leadership team. Marketing, Admissions, and Communication: Articulate the vision and story of your school and ISP to inspire parents, students, and colleagues. Commercial Success and KPIs: Understand your commercial responsibility for the school, co-creating and owning the delivery of targets and KPIs. Partnership with ISP: Work collaboratively with ISP, articulating the benefits of being an ISP school. Partnership with Parents and Carers: Build effective relationships with parents and carers, ensuring their needs are understood and they feel involved. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Experience as Principal for at least 5 years in schools with more than 800 students. Learning Focus including online platforms. Financial Understanding and KPI compliance. PGCE, QTS certification + Master and desirable PhD in Education. ISP Leadership Competencies Collaboration: Takes an active part in leading their school or region; develops positive relationships with colleagues.
