Rated People are hiring through meritt a driven, people-focused Head of Sales who's ready to shape the future of our sales teams. This role is perfect for a high-potential leader taking their first head of sales position.
The role suits a candidate who has a focus on coaching, development, and building a team culture of excellence. You will be reporting directly to CEO.
You'll manage two key teams—New Business and Account Management - while implementing strategies that balance people development with achieving key metrics.
Your role will go beyond numbers; you'll be the champion of our team's growth, guiding managers and frontline salespeople alike to develop their skills and exceed in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritise the training and professional growth of the sales team. Lead with a focus on mentoring managers and individual contributors, building their confidence, skillset, and long-term success.
Set and manage performance expectations across the New Business and Account Management teams. Drive strategy and day-to-day operations with an emphasis on balancing coaching with a commitment to targets.
Use data to make informed decisions, track performance, and understand conversion rates. You'll develop and refine compensation plans and other metrics-driven frameworks to align the team with Rated People's goals.
Establish credibility and rapport with our diverse sales floor. Build trust and motivate the team with empathy, a hands-on approach, and through leading by example.
Continually find new ways to improve the sales teams efficacy. Staying up-to-date on sales trends and sales technologies, leveraging them to achieve sales targets.
Work closely with the CEO, Marketing and other departments, ensuring sales insights and strategies align with the overall company vision.
Required Skills and Experience :
Experience in managing sales teams. Relevant experience would be as a front line manager Experience leading a team of SDRs is a strong plus.
Passion for coaching and developing others, with a collaborative mindset that inspires the team.
Proven track record of sales development and closing experience.
Strong analytical skills, particularly in conversion tracking, metrics analysis, and designing compensation plans.
Comfortable with sales technology and software to enhance team performance.
Natural ability to connect with diverse team members and foster a supportive, motivating environment.
