Be part of our best-in-class tech team and help us create unique value for our customers!Join us to tackle exciting tech challenges in the forefront of innovation at Santander Group, in an open and agile environment, benefiting from learning, growth, and local and international career opportunities in a modern, diverse setting.Mission and Responsibilities: Act as the point of contact for the T&O organization for the execution of controls over the budget of the book of work.Coordinate and centralize the annual budgetary exercise three years ahead.Design resources and budget needs for the launch of new projects.Control running costs and estimate impacts according to different drivers and volumes.Structure, report, and explain the economic status of the projects to Headquarters.Perform monthly closures (accrual) and prepare reports for Financial Management.Plan and follow up on the software amortization schedule.Monitor the rate of accrual vs. budget, deliverables, identify risks, and propose mitigating actions.Ensure any reconciliation breaks are investigated and solved on a timely basis, considering both tactical and strategic initiatives.Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries.Ensure the efficient operation of a robust control environment within Openbank.To be successful in the role you must have: At least 15 years of experience in similar positions as an IT Controller in IT Banking services.High level of proficiency in Spanish and English.Strong commitment driven by company objectives.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Capability to balance high-level strategic thinking with day-to-day practice.Excellent communication skills, able to communicate confidently, clearly, and accurately at all levels.A confident self-initiative attitude.Control mindset and attention to detail.A strong sense of belonging and the ability to work independently.Proficiency in Excel (High Level), PowerPoint (High Level), Power BI (Medium Level), and internal tools of Santander Group.Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar field.What do we offer?
