With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.What you will do:Support the analysis of various policy, regulatory and legislative issues affecting the renewable hydrogen industry in Europe, both at a National and EU level. Manage the funding applications of renewable hydrogen projects and oversee the administration of public funds received from national or European agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, milestones and reporting. Work under the guidance of the Head of the Department within the H2 business unit and in close collaboration with other members of the unit and other teams (legal, communication, stakeholders, etc).Responsibilities:Policy: Support the definition of external positioning on policy and regulatory affairs.Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impact of policy and regulatory updates.Prepare responses to public consultations.Actively support the engagement efforts related to the participation in external organizations and initiatives (industry groups, associations, etc.).Regulatory compliance: Stay abreast of changes in regulatory frameworks and guidelines of the energy sector, particularly those related to hydrogen projects, in Portugal, Spain, and the European Union.Provide insights on how regulatory changes may impact ongoing and future projects.Public funding management: Search for funding opportunities.Coordinate the application to public calls and funding opportunities.Manage the negotiation, contracting and reporting processes with funding agencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective utilization of funds and alignment with project goals.Dissemination: Organize or collaborate in training activities.Represent EDP Group in external forums.Prepare presentations.Employment type: Full-TimeWork site: Hybrid ModelLocation: Any city with an EDP Office is valid. Preferably Oviedo, Lisbon or Bilbao.What are we looking for:Degree in Engineering, economics, management, law, political science, environmental science, or related.+5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Experience in energy sector regulatory matters is a plus
