Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of AB in Multimedia Arts, BS in Digital Illustration and Animation, BS in Graphics Design, BS Information Technology, or BS Computer Science, or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline. Knowledge: Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator. Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS preferred. Working knowledge of technologies and software: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, iOS, Android, Design Systems, or other design software/tools. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web. Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems and wireframe tools. Skills: Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills. Expert knowledge of computer program design methods and techniques. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills associated with computer program design methods and techniques. Demonstrates ability to process multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. General Function: Graphic designers create images for the company website, advertisements, and other relevant media. The primary function is to ensure branding is consistent, clear, and impactful. The designer should be able to take concepts and ideas and create visual representations in both print and electronic media, collaborating with multiple teams across the company. Specific Responsibilities: Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals. Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations. Work independently and cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines and stay within budget. Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video. Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials. Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity. Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content. Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system.
