At Lubrizol we're transforming the engineering market and looking for exceptional talent to join us on this journey.If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.What You'll Do: As a Global Safety Systems Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading and supporting the implementation of processes and project safety standards in conjunction with the Global Health Safety Environmental and Security (HSES) team. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly impact how we build, implement, advise and continuously improve process and project safety standards within engineering, that align with and complement global HSES standards and roadmaps to implement them through a global network and a team they will build. You will also own the process and project safety metrics, globally.What We're Looking For: Develop and implement an assessment and annual evaluation tool that demonstrates the real-time maturity of process and project safety at Lubrizol's global sites.Build and execute a roadmap for improvement that aligns with the strategy of the organization and HSES.Work closely with HSES team to ensure strategy alignment and seamless workflow.Own the engineering elements within PSM (Process Safety Management) and develop and implement strategies to support the sites with guidelines and practical implementation of the safety elements.Build and lead a team of regional SMEs (Safety Mechanical Engineers) that will support the implementation, improvement of the standards and supply direct support to the global plant network.Standardize, benchmark, and own the way the organization creates functional descriptions and user requirement specifications for process control projects.Own the process and project safety metrics from a corporate standpoint.Ensure strategic HSES projects are aligned with business goals and stakeholder expectations.Develop a skills inventory database for site project engineers for project and process safety, in conjunction with other engineering leaders. Integrate this system into the structure of the global group and clarify the local and global process and project safety responsibilities
