The challenge of the Global L&D Business Partner position is to organize a mid-term learning and development system in a high-growth environment, with a significant impact on the organization.
Mission The Global L&D Expert has responsibility and accountability for all L&D activity within the
Alliance.
Hands on and dynamic role, the mission involves coordinating L&D activity, leading on the design and implementation of new initiatives and projects as well as helping promote best practice in our policies and processes to encourage focused and effective development for our people.
Job Functions Planning and Coordination:
? Develop comprehensive learning and development plans for corporate and departmental/divisional needs, based on appraisal outcomes, to support Alliance objectives.
? Conduct a global skills assessment audit post-appraisal to identify strengths, development areas, and succession planning opportunities across the Council.
Project Design and Implementation:
? Design and implement L&D projects to instill best practices and achieve immediate and long-term Alliance objectives. This includes creating clear plans and deliverables that outline key stages of the employee journey.
? Develop and refine the Samy competency framework to delineate essential skills and their development.
? Establish and update a succession planning strategy to track personnel development for future objectives.
? Create and enhance a development program for line managers and leaders, ensuring their growth aligns with Council goals. Combine these into an internal MDDC training college leveraging our workforce's strengths.
? Manage the L&D portal (Zavy) to improve interface with personnel needs and provide accessible support for enhancing Alliance capabilities and promoting best practices.
? Collaborate with HRBPs to advance succession planning and leadership development strategies, ensuring alignment with future goals of the Alliance.
Requirements ? Extensive experience in learning and development, including planning, coordinating activities, and designing new practices and strategies.
? Broad generalist background with experience in organizational projects and implementing new operational methods.
? Proficient in skills audits, training needs analysis, and using HR software to support agile, online working practices.
? Understanding of budget monitoring techniques and training industry standards.
? Knowledgeable in management theories and practices, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
