We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Business Analyst (Global IT) to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.
The Global IT Cybersecurity Business Analyst will work closely with global IT and business process owners to ensure that cyber security services are provided as outlined.
The IT Security Business Analyst will examine business processes within IT and the business and provide an external perspective, void of technology.
This role reports to the Global IT Security Manager and will be in Asturias, Spain.
As a Cybersecurity Business Analyst , understanding and addressing cybersecurity is crucial for protecting an organization's data and systems.
Although you are not responsible for implementing security measures, you must be aware of risks and collaborate with cybersecurity teams.
This includes understanding basic cybersecurity concepts, staying updated on threats, integrating security requirements in project planning, conducting risk assessments, and adhering to data protection laws and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities: Gather and rationalize business processes, creating swim lane and flow diagrams.
Perform data field mapping and document data flows within applications or business processes.
Test business processes and collaborate with Security SMEs to improve controls.
Manage major Information Security projects.
Assist in deploying mitigations based on business needs and risk.
Document Information Security processes and procedures.
Create and improve existing technical documentation.
Collaborate as a team member on Global Information Security projects and help mitigate risk.
Key requirements: Diploma or associate degree in IT or similar.
Minimum of two years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Cybersecurity field.
At least, medium knowledge of Cyber Security related technologies.
High-level understanding of Risk Management and Identity Management (desirable).
Understanding industry-based standards, such as ISO 27000, NIST 800 Series Special Publications, SOX and PCI.
Understanding of security services such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Virus Protection, and Digital Certificates (desirable).
It is a plus to have knowledge of AAA (including 2Factor) and PKI.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset; fluency in English is essential.
