Description: The individual in this role will be a member of the Global Medical Affairs Leadership Team (GMALT) and interact with all levels of leaders across Medical Affairs, R&D and cross-functionally. This position will provide support to the Global Medical Affairs Head with day-to-day and ad hoc operational business needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership to Medical Excellence and Operations projects cross-functionally, partnering with key internal and external stakeholders.
Closely interact with all Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Leadership Team members and their respective functions to develop cross BU standards for excellence and efficient operations, including organizational support structures, systems architecture, processes, people, and project portfolio management.
Work closely with business development and external scientific innovation teams to provide support for integrations from an R&D perspective.
Lead Global Medical Excellence and Stakeholder Engagement Team (Med. Communication, Med. Info, Capabilities and Learnings, Medical Service Hub, Medical Evidence Generation Management and Medical Project Coordination team).
Support and oversee coordination and execution of all operational activities related to external engagement funding (HCPs experts, international professional societies, patient associations...), ensuring that those initiatives are planned and executed in accordance with Galderma's code of conduct and local/global ethics & compliance requirements.
Coordinate timely Global Medical Affairs budget execution and tracking, within Global Medical Affairs Department.
Coordinate and organize (agenda, minutes, tracking, planning) GMA (Global Medical Affairs) Leadership Team meetings, Annual GMA Objectives meeting, Town hall meetings etc.
Lead & Support creation of materials for value demonstration of GMA activities and project to internal and external (if legally applicable) customers and stakeholders.
Prepare Executive presentations and materials for the Global Head of Medical Affairs, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines including business confidentiality.
Provide support to day-to-day and ad-hoc business needs and requirements for the GMA function globally.
Identify and oversee operational excellence initiatives to support innovation and other corporate objectives.
Skills & Qualifications Life Sciences qualification.
Very strong leadership experience in pharmaceutical and/or device Medical Affairs, or Senior Level Commercial roles in local (GM), regional and global settings.
Strong knowledge of all Medical Affairs functions planning and processes, or previous close collaboration with Medical Affairs Function in previous above function leadership roles, e.g., Country GM or Regional Head.
Distinct cross-functional management skills.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in strategic planning and development of business cases.
Digital savviness and experience with use of digital channels in Medical Affairs.
Solid and persuasive verbal, written, consulting, and platform communication skills.
Must have strong business acumen and experience in collaborating with R&D and commercial functions.
