The Underwriter will be responsible for developing and expanding new business opportunities through production & marketing calls with brokers and clients, marketing to distribution channels, prequalifying new business, and utilizing underwriting acumen to select sound opportunities within company guidelines to maintain profitability.We are seeking an individual preferably with a background in underwriting General Property business, who strives for excellence in every area from analyzing risks to delivering customer and broker service.You should be comfortable working closely with the Claims team and Risk Control engineers from across the broader team.
