Opdenergy is a renewable energy company and operates as an independent power producer (IPP). The company was founded in Spain, has been operating for 19 years, and currently has subsidiaries in Europe, North America, and South America. The company develops power plant projects from scratch, finances their implementation, carries out their construction, and manages the operational phase of the built generating units. The company is currently developing power projects in nine countries and has operating generation facilities in five of them. The size of operating installations is about 1.3 GW (sources: photovoltaic and wind), and the total size of projects under construction or prepared for construction is ~1.3 GW. The total size of the remaining projects at various stages of development is more than 18 GW.
Opdenergy is now looking for a General Ledger Accountant to give support to our projects globally.
What will you help with? Calculation and accounting of financial transactions, loans, swaps, etc.Accounting and analysis of the progress of work on projects under construction.Recording of accruals of operating income and expenses.Review and reconciliation of intercompany balances.Accounting reconciliations.Who you are? Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or similar.3 – 5 years' experience in similar positions. Experience in companies in the renewable energy or construction sector is desirable.Good command of the Office package, especially Excel.Knowledge of SAP.What do we offer?
