Are you a digital content Editor looking for an opportunity to use your skills and passion to make an impact in a mission-driven tech company? Do you have years of experience in editing and tailoring content for both B2C and B2B audiences? Do you follow the latest news and trends around cyber security? If your answer was yes throughout, this might be the role for you. As Proton keeps evolving to create a digital world where privacy is the default, the Content team is expanding. We're looking for a driven content Editor to help with editing and writing our blog, website, knowledge base, video, and other digital content. The role requires someone experienced in different forms of content, including measuring their success and taking key lessons. We are looking for someone who has impeccable attention to detail, is highly organized, and can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. This is an exciting role for a team player as you will work daily with the Content team, and collaborate with other marketing and product teams, particularly our fast-growing Proton Pass team.
What you will doProofread, edit, and review all forms of copy to ensure it is on brand and follows the Proton ToV and style guidelines.Review and optimize new and existing content with a critical mind to ensure it drives its respective objective and always provides value by being helpful to the reader.Collaborate closely with our SEO team on content initiatives that drive brand awareness and help reach targets.Collaborate with Proton's Brand, Social, PR, and other Marketing teams on large- and small-scale marketing projects.Manage the editorial calendar for Proton Pass.Be able to help the Content team with ad hoc requests and write copy when needed.Follow current digital privacy trends to pick up relevant news and proactively create thought-leadership pieces.Coordinate freelancers and agencies for the content we need to outsource.Work with the Head of Content to measure the effectiveness of your content and make adjustments as needed.Stay up-to-date on customer behavior, industry trends best practices, and competitor activity.We need you to haveBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Editorial, or a related field.Native and flawless written and spoken English.A portfolio that demonstrates your Editorial experience.SEO content experience.The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be proactive.Stakeholder management experience.Strong organizational and time management skills.A passion for security, tech, or privacy, and an ability to inspire others.Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments and distributed workplaces.Bonus points forExperience working for successful digital publishers.Experience in B2B and B2C content.Existing online presence in the digital privacy space.CRM content experience.CRO experience.Why should you join Proton?Be part of a movement - Proton is not just a product or service but a community-driven movement united by a shared vision of online freedom.
