Mission
Member of Iberia´s Technical Team of Execution iHUB department, the Technical Project Designer is responsible for performs technical operational activities (ex: design of layout or schematics, software coding, testing, commissioning), related to a part of customer project, based on pre-defined technical specifications. In his/her area of focus, identifies risks and interfaces, and provides the necessary reporting to the project technical stakeholders in Digital Energy, Automation and Control Areas.
Project Types: Digital Energy, Automation and Control
Experience in Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), Electrical Control Cabinets, Programming Languages, design, validation,
and commissioning to provide the solution to the customer, meeting the customer projects specifications.
Main responsibilities of the position
- It provides and specifies the technical solution according to the customer's requirements in relation to the offer.
- He validates the technical choices and technical solutions supporting to quoting phase and throughout the project and compliance of the final solution, according to Schneider solutions in Digital Energy, Automation and Control areas scope.
- Review technical documentation to optimize the solution and assure the customer requirement compliance.
- He provides the necessary reporting to the Project Manager (PM) and / or instances of the Project.
- Drive stakeholders' technical relationship and proactively communicate (Provide and support technical solutions and specifications compliance).
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in products and systems of Digital Energy, Automation and Control Areas.
- Experience with equipment's of Automation and Control Areas.
- Experience in software of Automation and Control Areas.
- Some knowledge in Schneider PLCs and yours programming languages (Modicon M580 - ePac, Modicon M340, Modicon M221, Modicon M241 and Modicon M251) is a plus advantage.
- Some knowledge in Schneider and Aveva software's and yours programming languages is a plus advantage, like:
- EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO),
- EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO),
- AVEVA System Platform (SP),
- EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert (PME),
- EcoStruxure Control Expert (Unity Pro),
- EcoStruxure Machine Expert (SoMachine).
- Some Knowledge and experience in industrial equipment's for communications (Modicon Networking, Hirschmann Networking) is a plus advantage.
- Some Knowledge and experience in industrial protocol communications (Modbus, Profibus, BacNet, LonBus, IEC61850, etc.) is a plus advantage.
- Some Knowledge in Cibersecurity standards and network designs is a plus advantage.

- Knowledge in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, etc.). Experience in MS Project is a plus advantage.
- Experience with a CAD software (Autocad, Eplan, SEE Electrical) is a plus advantage.
- Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish. Speak both languages are a plus advantage.
- Be able to write and speak English in customer plants.
- Be able to teach people on site.
- Availability to travel and work on Iberia area (Portugal and Spain).
- Possibility of traveling outside the Iberian area (Europe, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
