About the location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes. The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate and is currently undergoing restoration and renovation, scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations on assigned floors, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Supervise housekeeping staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and maintain a seamless operation.
Our Ideal Floor Supervisor candidate will have:
Experience in Hospitality: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a hotel or hospitality environment, specifically in housekeeping or operations.
Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high performance.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the hotel's standards.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, guests, and other departments.
Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on guest satisfaction and the ability to address guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Competence in identifying issues quickly and implementing effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines, especially during peak hours.
Knowledge of Housekeeping Standards: Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols relevant to the hospitality industry.
Training and Development Skills: Experience in training and mentoring new staff on operational procedures, standards, and best practices.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and supplies efficiently.
