About the roleWe are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Private Networks Europe team in Barcelona, Spain!The Financial Accountant will oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of our monthly accounting, working closely with external service providers initially before transitioning to full-cycle internal accounting responsibilities. Close collaboration with the Financial Controller ensures our financial processes and reporting are robust and compliant.What you'll be doingAs part of our Private Networks Europe team, the position will include duties such as:Partner with external accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting.Review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness.Identify and communicate discrepancies to external accountants for correction.Work with external parties to meet deadlines for monthly close and reporting cycles.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.Support the preparation and documentation of audits and tax returns, liaising with auditors and tax advisors as necessary.Monitor changes in financial regulations and practices to maintain regulatory compliance.What you'll bringThink you could make a difference here? You might also need some of the following:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.Strong understanding of general ledger, A/R, and A/P processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Proficiency in English and Spanish or French a plus!Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards, experience applying IFRS in a professional setting is a strong advantage.About usAt Boldyn Networks, we're reimagining the future of interconnectivity.
