The European Emerging Marketing Finance team has an opening for an experienced, highly analytical individual to join our team as a Finance Analyst.
We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking person to join our Europe-wide team.
In this key role, you will be the finance partner and trusted advisor to a key strategic area of the business - EU Emerging, ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, providing your business partners with actionable insights, performing forecasts and building strategic plans.
Just like a CFO of a business, you will act as a go-to person for all finance related questions for your business area.
Your role will involve close collaboration with various EU and US based marketing, business and finance teams.

Key job responsibilities Act as a business partner to your designated marketing area, by collaborating with the business on analysis and insight generation to support decision making.
Own and evolve the investment framework for your business area; assess business cases and support business development within your channel.
Lead regular business reviews (weekly, monthly and quarterly) and deep dive into performance drivers where necessary.
Build accurate forecasts, lead business and strategic plans for your area.
Regularly interact with Directors and senior leadership to explain the performance of your channel and to suggest areas of improvement.
Develop ad-hoc business analysis and strategies, and present recommendations to senior management.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance).
Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
MBA, or CPA.
Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
