For our office in Burgos, Spain, we are looking for the following open position: Field Service Engineer
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, save, and report failures in the field.
Troubleshoot waterjet machines and components on the telephone and on site.
Give maximum technical support to customers to minimize downtimes.
Perform installations of FLOW waterjet cutting systems independently until final acceptance mainly in Spain and other European countries if necessary.
Create a professional picture of Flow Technical Service in the field.
Give customer start-up training and provide safety training for CE-compliance.
Provide technical information to customers during installation, training, and service visits.
Willingness to mainly travel during the week and change working places on short notice. Some overtime is required.
Customer-oriented decisions with a minimum of supervision.
Produce accurate and detailed technical reports.
Ensure proper adherence to health & safety requirements.
Stay on site until the problems are solved and the job is finished.
Your profile:
Mechanical and electrical engineer (both), mechatronics engineer, technician, electrician, or other qualified job related to manufacturing and technical services within the machine tool industry.
3 years of work experience with CNC machine tool installation, commissioning, and training in the area of motion control systems in the field.
Ideally CAD/CAM experience (use and training).
Deep knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics.
Professional usage of modern diagnostic tools.
Good organizational skills.
Fluent in Spanish and good English level.
Customer-oriented, positive attitude, and independent.
Flexible in location of work and willing to travel.
Valid driver's license.
Full Passport & documentation to support permanent residence and employment in Spain.
