Key data about the roleDepartment: ProductReports to: Product ManagerType of contract: Full-time employeeNon-competition agreement: YesExclusivity: NoThe MissionAs a product owner for SaaS developments, you will work closely with our Product Manager to understand the business requirements and translate them into product requirements. You will then be responsible for scheduling releases and coordinating the development with your assigned development teams.
You will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, evaluating and accepting the work generated by the development teams in order to ensure the most valuable and impeccable features and functionality of the product.
OutcomesLeader:You will guide the development teams with a culture of high performance.You will make sure every engineer clearly understands why their work matters and how our products provide value to our customers.On-time and quality of deliveries:Make and deliver on commitments aligned with Product Requirements and Release Plan.Contribute to hitting agreed deadlines.Fix bugs according to their priority.At the end of 1st monthYou will have clarity on the strategy of the company and the vision of the product.You will have a clear picture of the departments involved in product development.You will understand how to obtain product requirements.You will have a clear view on the development process.You will understand the different stakeholders (internal and external) and how they are related to the product.You will understand the market solution and how it works.At the end of 1st quarterYou will write the product requirements and supervise the product description documents.You will be able to collaborate with the development team.You will understand what value means for the product.You will be able to create a releases road-map.At the end of 2nd quarterYou will lead and control product development.You will propose improvements to the products and the development process.You will be the owner and accountable for the execution of the product backlog according to the agreed release plan.You will make sure that the required tests and acceptance process are performed to ensure the delivered product is ready for market.You will ensure the maintenance of the delivered products.Activities/ResponsibilitiesYou will guide the software development teams for the SaaS platform as the Product Owner.You will provide vision and direction to the development team and other stakeholders.You will work closely with Product Management and any stakeholder needed to define product requirements (PRD), acceptance criteria and maintain a product backlog.You will define a release plan and ensure delivery according to it; making sure that the required tests and acceptance process are performed, ensure the delivered product is ready for market and validate the product description.You will provide updated technical requirements to the development team and ensure they always have an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.You will be playing an active role in mitigating obstacles impacting successful completion of the agreed development goals, and ensuring product compliance to market needs, costs and timeline.You will have a detailed view of the development status and its calendar and raise alerts and take corrective actions when required.You will collaborate on writing technical information documents.RequirementsPrevious working experience as a Product Owner for at least 5 years.Knowledge and experience with software development using agile methodologies and SCRUM.MA in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar relevant field.Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Creative thinker with a vision.Attention to details.Nice to haveExperience with device and network management software.Experience with SaaS.App development experience.Knowledge of geotechnical monitoring market and solutions.CompetenciesGreat Communicator, persuasive and team player.Passionate about technology.Hands on and with orientation towards achievement.Team player.BenefitsGreat work environment: we are a passionate, tight-knit team.
