We are looking for an Engineering Analyst on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Support in the performance of engineering activities;Support in the preparation and monitoring of Design Review documentation;Support in the performance of optical engineering activities;Support in the performance of engineering integration activities;Support in the review of welding and NDT documentation;Support in analysing the design of the different components under the responsibility of the Antennas Programme from welding and inspection standpoints;Attend welding and testing operations/qualifications at the premises of F4E supplies;Support in the performance of computational fluid dynamic calculations;Assist the performance of engineering analyses;Assist the F4E Responsible Officers in the review of technical reports;Support in the performance of project management support activities;Support in the storage, organization and access control to documentation;Support in the control of documentation:Verify the correct implementation of sign-off policy;Contribute to the verification of incoming and outgoing documents etc.Job requirementsBachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace or nuclear engineering or equivalent (In absence of a Bachelor's degree, candidates with vocational training and 5+ years of experience can also be considered);At least 4 years of relevant experience;Experience in the performance and/or review of mechanical, thermal, nuclear, electromagnetic or CFD analyses;Experience in the drafting and review of engineering analysis reports;Experience in solid modelling and meshing for general-purpose finite element analyses is an asset;Experience using ANSYS and/or Abaqus for mechanical and/or thermo-mechanical analyses is an asset;Experience in the post-processing of results of finite element calculations in accordance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, RCC-MR, etc.) is an asset;Knowledge or experience in high frequency electromagnetic simulations with software such as ANSYS HFSS is an asset;Experience in the nuclear environment will be considered an asset;Fluent English, both written and spoken; knowledge of another EU language is an asset;Candidates must be eligible to work and live in EU.Please submit your application in English via the apply button below.
