JOB PURPOSE - To monitor the quality of products, inspect materials, troubleshoot technical issues and test quality systems and procedures to ensure that technical quality standards are met and improve the overall product quality and durability.Policies, Processes Procedures - Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Day-to-day operations - Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.Job Specific Accountabilities - Interacts with production and engineering on part measurement results to print part specifications to assure quality and reliability.Determines the quality standards in order to set guidelines on what needs to be checked.Monitors the entire production cycle and performs regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible.Inspects product materials and electrical systems to identify any defects and ensure quality specifications are met.Updates Quality Systems with incidents, fixes and improvements to ensure they function properly.Identifies the root of technical issues to recommend suitable fixes.Prepares reports on malfunctions and corrective actions to keep an accurate record of such cases.Works with internal teams to improve the quality of the products.Continuous Improvement - Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Reporting - Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of quality to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.Safety, Quality Environment - Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.Related Assignments - Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS - Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
Minimum Experience: 0-3 years of experience working in Engineering related fields.
