Position Overview Primary Function: Primary contact for EMEA employee issues and questions related to Payroll.
Work with external Vendors to process international payrolls.
Reports To: EMEA Regional Controller Key Accountabilities Oversee the end-to-end payroll processes for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Collect and validate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Coordinate with internal finance team on disbursements of funds for employees, taxes, and other payments as necessary.
Support implementation of a new global payroll vendor, providing standard methodology, and supporting discovery sessions with key partners.
Review and validate payroll inputs, including employee data, timesheets, benefits, and deductions, for accuracy and compliance.
Manage payroll data integrity and maintain employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Conduct periodic payroll audits to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in global payroll management as well as legal requirements.
Explore opportunities to simplify and automate processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and document procedural improvements.
May be responsible for development and/or delivery of training related to payroll.
Agility and Innovation Drive consistency in end-to-end payroll process supporting improved efficiencies/compliance and standardization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of international payroll experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
Experience using automated Payroll systems and utilizing a third-party payroll provider.
Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Demonstrate high standards of customer service and excellent follow-up skills.
Strong analytical and math skills to identify issues and problem solve.
Critical thinker to identify areas of improvement and recommend process improvements.
Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents and assess reasonableness.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate Excel skills using pivot tables and V-lookups.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet payroll deadlines.
English and Spanish.
Other European languages are a plus.
Nice to have: Experience using UKG PRO and Workforce Dimensions.
Manufacturing payroll experience is a plus.
