Ours are used in home comfort and appliance, building and construction, adhesives and lubricants, and more.- Coatings: Whether it's a water-based coating or solvent-based coating, a thin film is deposited on materials to enhance specific properties such as enhanced performance, durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.We make diversity and inclusion a priority—because sharing our perspectives and building on each other's ideas will drive innovation.Could you imagine yourself in a place like this?As an Electrical Discipline Engineer for Dow, you will provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations and maintenance.Understands and implements Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools and industry best practices within their discipline.Electrical Discipline Engineers support both projects and other technical support teams.Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques and methodology within the electrical technology discipline.About you- Ensures drawings and specifications are clear and meet the needs of the business.- Ensures reviews are completed on time and that drawings and specifications are followed by fabricators, constructors and maintenance contractors.- Serves as the leader of activities within the discipline and has accountability for results, for the implementation and adherence to all relevant work processes and best practices.- Drives front end loading to ensure clear scope definition along with establishing plans and schedules to enable adequate control during execution.- Directs activities within the discipline and coordinates activities with other disciplines.- Leads the completion of deliverables provided to estimating and planning to ensure accurate reflection of scope.- Leads technical contract package development and supports implementation.- Drives value engineering and economic designs to ensure the best value is delivered to the business.- Uses and enforces change management program.- Ensures safety in design, operation and maintenance.Required qualifications- Electrical Engineer and a Master's Degree.- English language written and oral communication skills.- Experience in the manufacturing industry and/or engineering service companies.- Ability to interface effectively with field electricians, construction contractors, other disciplines, team members, and key stakeholders.- Understand the principles of the different electrical technologies.- Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously.- Ability to read electrical drawings and transfer information into electrical designs.About DowDow (NYSE: DOW) combines global breadth, asset integration and scale, focused innovation and leading business positions to achieve profitable growth.
